Alongside other associations, Andy Stirling is Emeritus Professor in the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex. Focusing especially on issues of power, uncertainty, and diversity in science, technology, and society, Andy is a Fellow of the UK Academy of Social Sciences and served for science, technology, and innovation studies in the 2021 and 2029 UK national ‘REF’ research evaluations.
