At the inaugural Grand Challenges Conference, the Berlin University Alliance welcomes researchers, practitioners, and changemakers from around the globe to connect, inspire, and co-create new pathways for a better future.

Taking place from 23 to 25 March 2026 in Berlin, the academic conference will bring together diverse perspectives under the theme Joint Research for Better Futures. Together, we will explore how working across boundaries can generate knowledge that matters and solutions that create impact.
