PD Dr. Stefanie Theuring

Stefanie Theuring is a global health researcher at the Institute of International Health, Center for Global Health, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Trained in applied social sciences and health sciences, she brings nearly 20 years of experience in interdisciplinary research and academic teaching. Her work focuses on the social determinants of global health, with particular emphasis on migration, health equity, sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, and the prevention of infectious diseases such as HIV. She collaborates with research partners in sub-Saharan Africa, including Sierra Leone, Madagascar, and Uganda, as well as with cross-sectoral, non-academic partners in Berlin.
