Paul Gellert is a health psychologist and professor of social and behavioral gerontology at the Institute of Medical Sociology and Rehabilitation Science, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. His research focuses on how individual resources in combination with (social) contexts and family dynamics influence health trajectories. He is particularly interested in how individuals prevent and manage multimorbidity and care dependency throughout aging.
