What Is the Intersection between Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing?

Machine learning is changing the world we live in. Large language models alter the way we think by challenging traditional learning models and encouraging new forms of inquiry and expression. Quantum computers have been suggested to speed up classical algorithms for machine learning. Initial results suggest that quantum computers may help in machine learning tasks. Most results concern highly structured instances, but the next steps are concerned with the potential for quantum computers to assist in meaningful machine learning tasks involving classical data. This workshop will explore the potential and the limitations of quantum machine learning.
